My Story
My name is Leah Moser, and I am a children's book author living in Northern Virginia. I share my love of writing and reading picture books with my husband, three children, and pup named Cali.
My debut picture book, I AM A THUNDERCLOUD was released in April 2024 with Running Press Kids/Hachette. I am represented by Dan Cramer of Page Turner Literary Agency.
I am a member of the SCBWI community, 12x12PB challenge, multiple picture book critique groups, PB Soar 24, and Vivian Kirkfield's 50 Precious Words judging panel.
My background is in elementary education in both a general and special education setting. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Lafayette College and my Master's in Elementary Education from George Washington University.

This powerful picture book reminds us that having the ability to recognize how we are feeling not only increases our emotional intelligence and helps us process our own emotions, but it also allows ut to recognize and empathize with others who are struggling with their emotions.
